A few minutes back, we informed you about some of the new features that Windows Live Messenger 2010will bring. Many of you would be aware of the fact that Wave 4 is expected to arrive at a certain time in 2010, hopefully in January. Wave includes a diverse set of products which of course includes Live Messenger.Windows Live Writer is also a part of it. With Wave 4, Windows Live Writer will be getting the ribbon interface which will give the blogging tool a much sexier look.

- Home Tab – Shows all the commonly used functions such as insert images, formatting commands (alignment , bullets and more)
- Insert Tab– Supposedly provides you the option to Insert Images, Videos, Tables, Maps and similar features)
- Blog Account Tab – Provides functions such as adding a new blog account, change settings for a blog account and other related options.
How can I end the post, without telling you that the ribbon interface also includes the Backstage view, which presumably mimics all the options listed in the File menu of the currently available Windows Live Writerversion.
I just wonder, will the UI revamped Live Writer bring picture editing tools that will allow you to do actions such as crop the image, remove the background and more. If it does, it will be highly appreciated. Do share with us your input on this matter.
